A released person often no longer appears in a current-custody locator. The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department holds Jail and House of Correction release information, Massachusetts DOC handles state-prison records, the Trial Court records the judicial basis, and the Parole Board or Probation Service may own the next stage.
This site brings those release-record routes, official search limits, request steps, and facility contacts together. Federal releases use the national Bureau of Prisons system, while immigration custody uses its own federal channel. Each page identifies which office can confirm the event and which online result is only a clue.
